In a simpler time, when people took time out of their busy schedules to enjoy life, afternoon tea was a common practice.  It gave us a chance to put aside the day and spend time with family, friends, and lived ones.  A time to talk, plan, and most of all, bond.

As society advances things change, usually for the better.  sometimes something so enhances our lives that it should never change.  Afternoon tea is one of those things.
